I'm an activist and a writer; i.e. I work well on my own, but I'm used to working with people, so I love being edited. When someone says "I think this'll make your piece better", I hear "I love your piece and I want to put effort into making it better". And I will be writing about what it means to be 'an activist'. Such a small yet confusing word.
