MacKenzie Scott Foundation Scam Part III
What a twist
I wrote two articles about this: One and Two. I thought that was it. I figured I brought attention to it, so the people involved with the real foundation will see to it. However, I got more messages from the foundation.
There are two parts or sides to this contact. One is the contact with the foundation, the other is with FedEx, or the delivery people. The ‘foundation’ side sounds completely legitimate and genuine. They shared ‘thank you’ videos from various organisations they helped; videos I couldn’t find anywhere else. I looked up those organisations, and they are for real.
The other side, the delivery people claiming to be FedEx, could not sound less genuine. They are as fake as it gets.
I should mention that we seriously need help. I’m not sure if there is another organisation that could use this help as much as we could. I mean, the latest development on the issue we’re trying to solve was Russia blocking the speech of the High Representative at the UN. Russia had the audacity to claim that the High Rep is listening to ‘Muslims’. This is so untrue. In fact, it is the opposite of the truth. Plus, Russia is only listening to Serbia and Serbs — a fact!. They are known for their Stalin-like behaviour towards all non-Serbs in Bosnia (Re: Resolution of the Genocide in Srebrenica). They only know what Serbs have told them. And Serbian politicians are notorious liars. The fact is, this entity that Russia is sworn to protect called Republika Srpska (unfortunate name) is like a tenant in Bosnia, and we need this naughty tenant out. The tenant has just invited a mafia, drunk guest to stay with them and help them steal the property we were only renting to them. But Russia does NOT know this, because Russia gets drunk with Serbia, and anything Serbia says, Russia obeys. It is pathetic. We need funds to save our country (and ourselves) from this political wh*ring around. In short, WE REALLY NEED MONEY.
Furthermore, I live on my integrity. I have a need to be honest and just, morally upright person. So, this revelation that something is wrong within something that’s good and pure made me want to find out more.
The first email I got for ‘FedEx’ was from a yahoo account. No wonder I refused to send them any money. But I decided to play along and send an e-mail to real FedEx. I got a very prompt response from a FedEx account that said:
Thank you for writing to FedEx.
Please note FedEx doesn’t accept payment in term of bitcoins. Kindly share the Origin of this email to check and advise validity.
So I write back to Mackenzie and told her that FedEx wrote back to me and that the delivery she’s suggesting is not real FedEx. She replied how I must follow the delivery instructions given to me by the delivery people. I send a few more messages, each time I get the response that I must follow the instructions the delivery people gave me.
What the heck is going on?
I should mention that the foundation side, the one that sounded genuine, has two sides. One is the general information room with all the information about them, the other is a private chat you get to through the main room. So I am in the private chat room with Mackenzie, she said she is the real Mackenzie Scott.
She says that she will have to withdraw our funds. I tell her that I will publish an article. She threatens that publishing false information is against the law. So I tell her that I will publish only the truth, and then I reminded her that I’m an activist in the Balkan; it is unlikely that I’d be afraid to tell the truth.
There’s a pause. The next message I get from Mackenzie is that she spoke to Fred Smith, CEO of FedEx and he assured her that everything is arranged and that I have nothing to worry about. Sounded like there was a simple miscommunication within FedEx.
I get a message on WhatsApp from a +1 (253) number and it starts with
“I am Fredrick Williams the CEO of FedEx delivery services…”
I find contact details for the real CEO of FedEx and I sent him an email while exchanging messages with this number. I was shocked to find how far they were willing to go. I copied the whole conversation into a word doc; over 3000 words. He even sent me videos of ‘my money being counted’.
Then, while exchanging messages with the fake FedEx CEO, I get a reply to my email to the real CEO of FedEx
No FedEx would not contact you in this manner for payment of a package prior to delivery. If you would like to discuss further, please contact me @877 phone number and ext. if you require further assistance…
I send a picture of this message to Mackenzie, while still swapping messages on WhatsApp with someone claiming to be FedEx CEO. Mackenzie replies that people are still getting their ‘money’. So I ask if she, Mackenzie Scott, is alright with the lie. She has not replied and I have a funny feeling that she will not reply. That doesn’t mean that this is over.
I have thought long and hard about what might be happening. Initially, I thought it was a scam through and through — someone was pretending to be the foundation to get people to pay into the bitcoin account. But I don’t see how. Those videos they share are genuine. How did they get them?
So here’s what I’m thinking now. I think the people employed to carry out the admin part decided that there’s an opportunity there for them by creating their own delivery service. I mean, let’s face it, when you create a delivery service, possibilities are endless. They couldn’t be upfront about it, so they copied FedEx — who will check if it is the real FedEx or not. In other words, if I am right, they are scamming MacKenzie Scott.
The thought, might be completely wrong, but the thought alone made me sick. I do not do scams, let alone hurt someone as lovely as Mackenzie. I mean, you have to be a real heartless dimwit to hurt someone that nice. And these people tried to pull me into their scam?!?!?! Oh, I am so angry!
Alright, there will be a lot more about this, so if you’re interested, keep an eye out. I am looking at places where I could report this scam and get some advice on how to handle this.
